Final Paper Preparation Instructions

Accepted paper should be prepared in final form according to the following guidelines:

• Paper size: Letter.
• Number of pages: 4-6 pages. Absolute maximum number of pages: 8 pages. Papers that are more than 6 pages long will be subject to overlength page charges of $100/page beginning with the 7th page at the time of the final paper submission.
• Final papers should be prepared using templates available at this link. The margins should be as set in the template and should not be modified
• Abstract should be no more than 200 words in length.
• Pages in the final paper should not be numbered.
• For additional details on preparing the manuscript, please consult the IEEE Editorial Style Manual.

Final Paper Submission Instructions

To complete the final paper submission process, please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Complete the conference registration on the conference registration site according to the conference registration guidelines.
2. Check if the paper meets the IEEE Xplore PDF compliance criteria
   1. Before submitting the final version of the paper, please use the IEEE PDF eXpress service to check if your file meets IEEE Xplore requirements for PDF files. To use the IEEE PDF eXpress service, please follow this link.
   2. If the file (either Word or PDF) submitted to PDF eXpress passes the PDF eXpress check, you will receive an email from PDF eXpress indicating that the file passed the PDF eXpress check. The email will come with an attachment representing a PDF version of the file you have submitted. The attached PDF file will have in its Properties a PDF eXpress stamp that reads as follows: "Certified by IEEE PDFeXpress at 'date' 'time'". (To check the properties of the pdf file, open the file, click on "File", and select "Properties")
3. Complete the following tasks at the final paper submission site
   1. Proceed with the submission of the final PDF version of the manuscript by uploading the PDF version that was sent by PDF eXpress. (Please do not upload a PDF version that you generated yourself. The PDF version sent by PDF express will have the PDF eXpress stamp that will be used to check if the file passed the PDF eXpress check). Only PDF files should be uploaded.
   2. Upload a PowerPoint slide to be included in a Book of Abstracts for the conference.
      1. The PowerPoint slide should have a very brief description of the paper in the form of few bullet items and a representative figure of the paper subject/results.
      2. Use this template to prepare the PowerPoint slide.
      3. The PowerPoint slide should be submitted in .ppt format.
   3. Complete the IEEE Electronic Copyright Form.
   4. Complete the checklist on the paper submission page. All four items in the check list must be checked in order for the paper to be included in the conference proceedings.
