Daily Tours

The regular registration to ISOT 2010 will entitle the attendees to one of two tours options (only 1 of the options is included in the registration):

  1. Tour of Niagara Falls (one day - October 28, 2010)
  2. Toronto City Tour (multiple day pass for Oct. 24-Oct. 28) + CN Tower dinner-visit ticket (single pass - October 27, 2010).
Note: For an included tour, you can only choose one of the above two options. Extra tickets for guests can be also purchased and are subject to availability.

Below, please find information regarding the tours provided by the conference.

Niagara Falls & Niagara-on-the-Lake Tours (Included with registration fee - Option 1)


Niagara Falls As part of your registration fee, the ISOT conference provides a FREE full-day tour to the Niagara Falls and the historic and beautiful city of Niagara-on-the-Lake. The tour starts at 9am in the morning, on Thursday Oct. 28, 2010, with a pickup from a designated location and it will end by 6pm, the same day, at the pick-up location. Lunch is included in this trip at the Secret Garden Restaurant.
There will also be 2 hours of free time during the tour when you can shop, visit the Niagara Casion, or discover the town by yourself.
This tour will provide you with the entertainment and experience of the internationally known tourist attractions such as the Niagara Falls and the Niagara-on-the-Lake town. We are sure you will have a blast!
We will spend good amount of time at each of the visiting spots at the falls and in the town. There will also be a free "Journey Behind the Falls" tour which will take you behind the great Niagara Falls (the Canadian "Horseshoe" Falls).

  • Canadian Horseshoe and American Falls
  • Journey Behind the Falls tour
  • Visit famous Pillitteri Estate Winery, including Wine Tasting
  • Niagara-on-the-Lake town visit
  • Floral Clock (with group photo session)
  • Scenic Drive along Niagara Parkway with photo stops at Niagara Gorge, and Whirlpool Rapids
  • Queenston Heights Brock Monument
  • Canadian & US Hydro Power Stations

Toronto Tour (Included with registration fee - Option 2)

Discover the city of Toronto and it major attractions in this comprehensive and flexible tour. The conference registration will provide you with a ticket for a Hop-on Hop-off style of tour on double-decker buses, with 24 stops. It will also include a free boat tour of the Toronto Inner Harbour.
Each loop of the tour (given you do not get off the bus) lasts 2 hours, and the buses start the tour at 9am everyday. Your ticket is valid for 7 days (multiple days pass throughout the conference period)! The tour is fully narrated by friendly and knowledgable tour guides.

Toronto

The free Harbour and Islands boat trips lasts 45 minutes and it covers the Toronto Inner Harbour and the 14 islands near it.

CN Tower Tour (Included with registration fee - Option 2)

Discover the marvel of engineering, at its best! The CN Tower was the tallest free-standing tower in the world, from 1975 until 2007. This amazing structure stands 553.3 meters high. Touring CN Tower is an unforgettable event. From the skies you can see the people and cars, all the size of ants on earth. By standing on the glass floors, you will get the rush of height without the consequences! There are many things to do in CN Tower, including stores, attractions, and a 360 rotating restaurant. From this view you can see the entire city, buildings and the lake.
